Updates on my online business journey

One Year with LaunchYou – My Journey So Far

It’s hard to believe, but I’ve now been a LaunchYou member for just over a year. When I first joined, I had no idea where the journey would take me, but I knew I wanted to learn how to build something online that could give me more freedom and flexibility.

Looking back, I can honestly say that the decision to join has been one of the best I’ve made. Thanks to the education, mentorship, and tools I’ve had access to, I’ve managed to start my own company and create a side income that actually works in real life.

What I’ve Built

Over the past year, I’ve launched a small business offering different kinds of online services and marketing solutions. Some of the things I now work with include:

  • Google Ads – running campaigns that help businesses get more visibility online.

  • Affiliate marketing – promoting products in a way that doesn’t require me to put myself out there on social media.

  • Property management services – creating and managing websites for rental properties, complete with booking engines and administration.

In short, I’ve been able to combine what I’ve learned into practical services that people actually need.

Why This Matters to Me

I currently work offshore, and one of the biggest benefits of building this kind of side hustle is the flexibility. As long as I have my laptop and an internet connection, I can keep things running — even while I’m offshore. That means I can build and grow my business alongside my main job, instead of having to choose one over the other.

The best part is that I’ve been able to do all of this without investing huge amounts of money upfront, and without having to constantly be on social media showing my face. For me, that’s important — I wanted to build something sustainable, flexible, and aligned with how I prefer to work.

Looking Ahead

This is still just the beginning. I see this as a journey, not a finish line. My side income is growing, and I’m excited to keep learning, improving, and seeing where it can go from here.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that starting small is okay. You don’t need all the answers on day one. You just need the right guidance, a willingness to learn, and the patience to keep going.
